SCN is an abbreviation of Saskatchewan Communications Network.
Q: How is SCN funded?
A: SCN is a not-for-profit organization and receives funding from a number of sources, including an operations budget from the Saskatchewan provincial government, and donations from Friends of SCN, which support regional TV.
SCN’s satellite infrastructure network distributes:
- Televised distance education to 270 classrooms throughout the province
- High speed internet to rural and remote communities through CommunityNet
- The proceedings of the Saskatchewan Legislative Assembly to a provincial viewing audience

Q: Why do you repeat so many programs?
A: Often when we repeat a program, it's because viewers asked us to. It's also important to remember that, once we've purchased a show into our inventory, or supported its production, it's cost effective for us to broadcast it more than once.
