Friends of SCN value relevant, commercial-free TV so much that they donate money to show their support. We ask for funding support because we don't allow any commercial advertising, so we don't have any commercial revenues.
Donations we receive from Friends of SCN goes to support production of made in Saskatchewan shows.
We Have Two Kinds of Friends:
- Individual Friends, have opportunities to receive great gifts.
- Corporate Friends, receive unique benefits for their organization.

Dearest Friends,
My name is Awelana Akeriwe, and I am pleased to introduce myself as the new Coordinator of Donor Relations.
I am a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston, ON and have a Grad. Diploma in Corporate Communications from Seneca College, Toronto, ON. I recently moved to Regina from Toronto and I am eager to build relationships with Friends of SCN.
Our viewers and individual donors who contribute to SCN are very important to us. Your support not only plays an integral role in acquiring high quality, award-winning programs that encourage curiosity and thought but also plays a part in building Saskatchewan’s film and TV industry.
I am thrilled about my new responsibilities and determined to bring exciting changes to the network of Friends of SCN such as welcoming more Corporate Friends and community-minded organizations.
